ade exclusively with Montepulciano grapes grown in the Castorano vineyard, which has a good southern exposure.

This wine has an intense ruby colour. Its bouquet is fruity, ethereal and spicy with the fragrance of fruit preserve, red flowers, cinnamon, pepper and clover.
Its bouquet and taste are intense, enduring and fine.

It is dry, savoury, suitably tart, warm, well-balanced and full-bodied with a typically tart aftertaste.
It is at its best with a roast or grilled red meat dishes, game dishes,
braised meat and mellow cheese.

Excellent with pore mushrooms  ("porcini") and with grilled lamb.
